For the people who were watching Saher il lail ( watan al Nahar ) yesterday was very touchy …. I didn’t know see or experience what happened because I wasn’t there ..  when we saw the episode yesterday My dad told me this is exactly how it was .. they played the tape again .. all of us not knowing what is going on and thinking that the war will end the next day .. Family worrying sick about their children .. the scary sounds of bombs and shots all over .. Everyone was hiding behind their locked doors , with no lights .. peaking through windows and watching Kuwait getting destroyed..

It was sad when you hear something .. but when you see it it’s a whole other situation .. I was so emotional yesterday .. and broke down .. I couldn’t imagine how people felt , heard and saw .. I saw it yesterday on a screen and I fell apart with tears in my eyes ..

But all i’m thinking about is the day Kuwait got it’s freedom and how happy we were even when we were far away ..

For the people who experienced the ’3azoo .. allah ya7fethkom o inshallah mat shofoon ile sheftoo mara thanya  ..  o allah yer7am shohada2na o yerage3 asrana .. o ya7feth il Kuwait.

GOOLO AMEEN ..

  1. I was one of the people who stayed in Kuwait during the whole time the war was happening. We would go live with one of my aunts or uncles for a few months at a time then move back to our home since my Dad had travelled before the Ghazo and was with the Amir. It was a scary time and needless to say you are correct every day we would wish that the idiots who invaded us will just get up and leave and go back to the hole the crawled out of. But unfortunately lots of lives were lost and it didn’t end until much later.

    • yesterday it got to me cuz i hear but didn’t see im worried about how i would take the rest of the episodes .. shay ye3awer il galb
